At AAYA, National Associates work with our National Pillar and Portfolio Directors. They support Directors in a wide range of activities from event planning to marketing and digital design to managing stakeholder engagement.
The required time commitment is 2-4 hours a week.
Careers Associates support our Professional Development Pillar, working with our Careers Director to provide a range of events, including career fairs, internships and skills workshops.

Responsible for supporting the Media/Marketing Director in producing media and marketing content, including by digital editing, graphic design, media account management, stakeholder management, managing logistics and contributing to the Media and Marketing strategy.
Responsible for supporting the Events Director in producing AAYA events, including managing stakeholders and logistics and contributing to the events strategy.
Responsible for supporting the Publications Director in producing AAYA Publications, including by drafting and editing, designing Publications material and liaising with stakeholders.
Responsible for supporting the Partnerships Director in connecting with internal and external stakeholders, including by drafting, reaching out to community organisations and representing the AAYA chapter across functions.
